Gardner & Beedle is a wine and spirit merchants, founded by two friends and located in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. Their impressive wine collection is housed in their very own shop on the bustling Tisbury high street, offering a broad range of wines at various price points and their belief is that anyone should be able to buy a wine at a competitive price, without compromising on flavour or quality in friendly surroundings. The duo have a lifetime of hospitality and retail experience and maintain that a wine shop should cater as much to the wine novice as it does to the seasoned connoisseur.
TIM GARDNER
After working his way through London and Paris’s most celebrated night spots and eateries Tim arrived in Wiltshire some five years ago, bringing with him a lifetime of wine knowledge. Tim is the lead buyer for Gardner & Beedle and is responsible for forging long relationships directly with our chosen wine suppliers and makers. Now living in an idyllic cottage near our Wiltshire shop, Tim’s country life could not be more different to the busy city life that he left behind.
NICK BEEDLE
Having toured the world as an acclaimed drummer, Nick returned to London and started working in a small independent wine shop in 2008 and progressed to Hedonism Wines in Mayfair. Nick, now with over 12 years experience in the trade, he was drawn to country life and, along with wife Rowena and three children, moved to Dorset in 2015 where he endeavoured to further his career as a wine expert. Nick and Tim, three years and endless bottles of wine later, decided to go into business together and so Gardner & Beedle was born.
