Jean Aubron, Muscadet Sevre et Maine, Elegance 2023

Muscadet Sèvre et Maine is the heartland of Muscadet, near Nantes at the western end of the Loire Valley, close to the Atlantic. Its Melon de Bourgogne grapes give light, crisp, saline whites made for seafood. Jean Aubron is a family grower in the appellation.

Pale straw with subtle green reflections. Fresh, delicate aromas of lemon zest, green apple and white peach mingle with floral hints of acacia and a touch of sea-breeze minerality. Clean, crisp and persistent.

Serve with: oysters, mussels, fish and chips or a seafood platter. Serve well chilled.
