Chateau de Fleurie, Fleurie 2023

Fleurie is one of the ten Beaujolais crus, the top named villages of Beaujolais, and is often called the most elegant and perfumed of them. Its pink granite soils give Gamay a silky, floral character.

Aromas of red cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant, blackberry, liquorice, spice and dark chocolate. The palate has silky tannins, crushed red berry fruit, earthy spice, dark cherry and hints of black pepper.

Serve with: roast chicken, charcuterie, salmon or a cheese board. Lovely slightly cool.
