Domaine Nicolas Maillet, Mâcon Rouge 2024

Nicolas Maillet is a highly regarded grower in Verzé, in Burgundy's Mâconnais. The Mâconnais is best known for white wine, but also makes charming, fruity reds. This blends Gamay with Pinot Noir.

Ruby-hued, with intense aromas of blackberries, strawberries and wild raspberries and spicy notes. A harmonious marriage of the fruitiness of Gamay and the elegance of Pinot Noir.

Serve with: charcuterie, roast chicken, pork or a cheese board. Lovely slightly cool.
