Livera, Gevrey Chambertin 'Clos Village' 2021

Philippe Livera is a grower in Gevrey-Chambertin, the largest red wine village of Burgundy's Côte de Nuits and home to nine grand crus. 'Clos Village' is his village-level Gevrey, which shows the commune's classic depth and structure.

Aromas of ripe red berries such as black cherry and raspberry, complemented by earthy undertones and subtle hints of spice and forest floor. On the palate, silky tannins and well-integrated oak lead to a long, harmonious finish with notes of dark chocolate and a touch of leather.

Serve with: roast duck, game birds, beef Wellington or Époisses.
