Perelada is one of Catalonia's best-known wineries, based at the historic Castillo de Perelada in Empordà, in the far north-east of Spain near the French border. 5 Finques ('five estates') blends grapes from five of their vineyards.

Deep cherry red, with red fruit, spice, some balsamic notes and a toasty background. Fresh, well structured and balanced, with plentiful but well-integrated tannins.

Serve with: roast lamb, grilled steak, game or Manchego.
