Argiano Brunello Double Magnum 2019

Argiano is one of the historic estates of Montalcino in southern Tuscany, centred on a Renaissance villa, and farms organically. Brunello di Montalcino is one of Italy's greatest red wines, made from 100% Sangiovese and aged for years before release. This double magnum (3 litres, equivalent to four bottles) is a spectacular bottle for a big celebration, and large formats age particularly well.

Fermented on the skins in stainless steel for two to three weeks, followed by malolactic fermentation, then aged in large French oak barrels for 30 months.

Serve with: bistecca alla fiorentina, wild boar ragù, roast lamb or aged pecorino. Decant before serving.
