Mabis, Biscardo Neropasso Originale 2021, Magnum

Neropasso is made by Biscardo in the Veneto, using partially dried grapes (the same appassimento technique as Amarone) to give a richer, more concentrated red. This is a magnum (1.5 litres, equivalent to two bottles), perfect for a dinner party.

Intense ruby red, turning to garnet with age. A spicy bouquet with hints of cherry, black cherry and plum compote. Fine and velvety on the palate, persistent, with soft tannins on the finish.

Serve with: braised beef, lasagne, roast meats or hard cheeses.
