Serodes & Kovač, 'C’est Nous' Côtes du Roussillon Villages 2023

'C'est Nous' ('It's us') is a limited release of just 900 bottles from Serodes & Kovač in the Roussillon, in the far south of France. It's built around remarkably old vines: Grenache planted in 1929, Carignan in 1900 and Mourvèdre in 1952, with Syrah from younger vineyards.

Tank No. 12 (80% of the blend): Syrah 35% (first harvest of vines planted in 2004), Grenache 35% (planted 1929), Carignan 5% (planted 1900), Mourvèdre 5% (planted 1952). Tank No. 13 (20% of the blend): Syrah from vines planted in 1992.

Serve with: roast lamb, game, cassoulet or hard cheeses.
