Ch. La Picherie, Montagne St Emilion 2022

Montagne-Saint-Émilion is one of the 'satellite' appellations just north of Saint-Émilion on Bordeaux's Right Bank, with similar soils and grapes. It's a great source of Merlot-led claret at a much friendlier price.

Packed with crunchy, ripe red berry fruit, a touch of chocolate and soft, smooth tannins, with perfectly balanced acidity and a long, elegant finish.

Serve with: roast lamb, steak, duck or hard cheeses.
