Chateau Noaillac 2016

Château Noaillac is a family estate run by the Pagès family in the northern Médoc, on Bordeaux's Left Bank. This 2016 comes from an excellent vintage and has had time to soften.

Aromas of ripe blackberry and blackcurrant, with complexity from 12 months in oak bringing notes of smoke, tobacco and vanilla. A concentrated palate with hints of earth, leather and spice. A succulent, approachable claret.

Serve with: roast beef, lamb, steak or hard cheeses.
