Chateau la Tour de By, 2014

Château La Tour de By is a well-known estate in Bégadan, in the northern Médoc on Bordeaux's Left Bank, named after the old lighthouse tower that stands among its vines near the Gironde. This 2014 has had time to soften and develop.

Medium to full-bodied. Concentrated blackcurrant fruit with a hint of pencil lead and cedar wood.

Serve with: roast beef, lamb, steak or hard cheeses.
