Pomerol is one of Bordeaux's most prized appellations, a small plateau on the Right Bank where Merlot thrives on clay and gravel soils, producing rich, velvety reds. Clos Vieux Taillefer is a small Pomerol property making 100% Merlot.

Coffee, smoke, chocolate, cedar and ripe berries on the nose.

Serve with: roast beef, lamb, duck or mushroom dishes. Decant an hour before serving.
