Thistledown Wines was founded by two Masters of Wine, Giles Cooke and Fergal Tynan, to make modern, characterful Australian wines. Cunning Plan comes from McLaren Vale, just south of Adelaide, where warm days and sea breezes give rich, spicy Shiraz.

Great depth of ripe plum and blackberry fruit. A full-bodied wine with a succulent palate, lively spices and fine, velvety tannins.

Serve with: barbecued meats, lamb shanks, burgers or a hearty pie.
