El Grano Carmenere, 2021

Carmenère is Chile's signature red grape. Originally from Bordeaux, it was long mistaken for Merlot in Chilean vineyards until it was identified in the 1990s, and it is now grown there more than anywhere else in the world.

The nose bursts with vibrant greenery: capsicum, green bean and minted pea. The palate delivers a gratifying savoury bitterness with a light, refreshing appeal.

Serve with: grilled meats, chilli, empanadas or roasted vegetables.
