Le Bertarole, Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico N'C' Rian 2018

Le Bertarole is a small, organic family estate in Valpolicella Classico, in the hills north of Verona. Amarone is made from grapes dried for months after harvest, concentrating their sugars and flavours, to give one of Italy's richest, most powerful reds.

Ruby red, with a concentrated nose of red fruit and blackberry and hints of spice. Intense, complex and well balanced, with good balance between acidity and tannins and a long, fine, elegant finish.

Serve with: braised beef, game, aged Parmesan or dark chocolate. Decant before serving.
