Produttori di Manduria is a grower cooperative in Puglia, in the heel of Italy, founded in 1932. Primitivo di Manduria is their speciality: rich, generous reds from the same grape as California's Zinfandel. Lirica is their classic Primitivo di Manduria DOC.

Medium ruby red, with a pure nose of ripe dark fruit, cherry, plum and sweet spices such as ginger and aniseed, supported by discreet oak. Round and textured, with well-balanced freshness and a long, broad, spicy finish.

Serve with: slow-cooked ragù, barbecued meats, lasagne or hard cheeses.
