Monte Antico Toscana 2019

Monte Antico is an easy-drinking 'Super Tuscan' style red, blending Tuscany's Sangiovese with a little Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot for extra depth. This 2019 has had time to soften.

Aromas of leather, black cherries, liquorice and plums. Ripe red fruit on the palate, with hints of vanilla and violets, soft tannins, a silky texture and a good balance of acidity and fruit.

Serve with: pasta with ragù, pizza, roast meats or pecorino.
