Rosso di Montefalco 2020

Montefalco is a hilltop town in Umbria, in central Italy, famous for its powerful Sagrantino grape. Rosso di Montefalco is the more approachable red of the area, led by Sangiovese with a portion of Sagrantino for depth and structure.

Intense ruby red. Powerful, clean and elegant on the nose, with blackberry, black cherry and violet, followed by plum, blueberry, vanilla, pink pepper, tobacco, chocolate, cinnamon and mint.

Serve with: game, roast, stewed and braised meat, and aged cheeses.

70% Sangiovese, 15% Sagrantino, 5% Barbera, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot
