Planeta, Etna Rosso 2022

Planeta is one of Sicily's leading wine families, with estates across the island. On the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna they grow Nerello Mascalese, the local red grape, often compared to Pinot Noir for its perfume and finesse.

Intense ruby red, with an inviting nose of cracked pepper, red cherry and dried thyme. Medium-bodied, with silky tannins.

Serve with: tuna, roast chicken, pasta with tomato sauce or mushroom dishes. Lovely slightly cool.
