Thierry Germain of Domaine des Roches Neuves is one of the Loire Valley's most admired winemakers, farming biodynamically in Saumur-Champigny, the Loire's great appellation for red Cabernet Franc.

This bold Cabernet Franc is anything but shy. Deeply coloured and brimming with juicy dark berry and plummy fruit, it shows subtle hints of chocolate and a delicate touch of pepper.

Serve with: roast pork, duck, charcuterie or goat's cheese. Lovely slightly cool.
