Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso

Russolo is a family estate in Friuli, in north-east Italy. Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, named for its red stalks, is Friuli's best-known native red grape, giving deeply coloured, fresh reds with a hint of bitterness.

Deep red-purple. Intense notes of wild blackberries, mixed berries and prunes meet spicy undertones, with a pleasant tannin structure and acid balance.

Serve with: game dishes, roast meats, salami or hard cheeses.
