San Marzano, Collezione Cinquanta NV

San Marzano is a winemakers' cooperative in Puglia, in the heel of Italy. Collezione Cinquanta ('fifty') was created to celebrate the cooperative's 50th anniversary, and blends the region's two great red grapes, Negroamaro and Primitivo.

A big, fleshy wine full of chocolate and spice, smooth and very long.

Serve with: slow-cooked beef, lamb shanks, barbecues or hard cheeses.
