Chateau Saint Jacques d'Albas Blanc

Château Saint-Jacques d'Albas is an estate in the Minervois, in the Languedoc in the south of France, set in the hills near Carcassonne. This white blends Roussanne and Marsanne, the classic white grapes of the Rhône, with a touch of oak.

Oak is elegantly present on the nose, with light-coloured fruit, a hint of herbs and delicate vanilla and orange. Fresh acidity, with pear, ripe apple, orange zest and a touch of vanilla.

Serve with: roast chicken, pork, rich fish dishes or creamy cheeses.
