Claudio Mariotto Timorasso "Bricco San Michele" 2023

Claudio Mariotto farms in the Colli Tortonesi in south-east Piedmont, and is one of the growers who rescued Timorasso, a native white grape that had almost disappeared. Today it is regarded as one of Italy's most exciting whites, with real depth and the ability to age. Bricco San Michele is his single-vineyard bottling.

Packed with concentrated notes of lemon balm, white flowers, lime juice and yellow plums. Alongside the fruit are notes of bitter almond, steel and a delicate yeasty character.

Serve with: risotto, veal, white truffle dishes, aged cheeses or rich fish.
