Talmard, Genievres Macon Lugny 2023

From the Talmard family in Burgundy's Mâconnais, this Mâcon-Lugny comes from the Genièvres vineyard, near the village of Lugny. It's classic southern Burgundy Chardonnay, generous and fruit-forward with real finesse, and great value next to Côte d'Or whites.

Attractive aromas of red apple, lemon citrus and ripe peach with a touch of honeysuckle. A creamy texture is underpinned by fresh acidity that adds another layer and leads to more citrus and white stone fruit.

Serve with: roast chicken, fish pie, risotto or Comté.
