Bodegas Altolandon, Dulce Enero Ice Wine 2023

Bodegas Altolandon is an organic estate in Manchuela, in central Spain, with some of the country's highest vineyards, at over 1,000 metres. Dulce Enero ('January sweet') is a sweet wine made from Petit Manseng, a grape from south-west France that keeps its freshness even when very ripe.

A nose of sweet tropical fruit, peach, apricot, citrus and some spice. The medium-bodied palate is packed with white-fleshed and stone fruit. Clean, fresh and very mineral, with hints of honey.

Serve with: fruit tarts, blue cheese, foie gras or on its own after dinner. Serve chilled.
