Domaine des Forges, Coteaux du Layon 2023 Half Bottle

Coteaux du Layon, in the Loire Valley's Anjou, is one of France's classic sweet white wines. Chenin Blanc grapes are left late on the vine, where autumn mists from the Layon river help concentrate their sugars. Domaine des Forges is a family estate in the appellation. This is a half bottle (50cl).

An exquisite sweet wine with aromatic notes of exotic fruit and dried apricot. The palate is underpinned by fresh acidity, which beautifully balances the richness of fruit.

Serve with: tarte Tatin, fruit tarts, blue cheese or foie gras. Serve chilled.
