Joh. Jos. Prum, Wehlener Sonnenuhr 2023

Joh. Jos. Prüm is one of the most revered Riesling estates in the world, based in Wehlen on Germany's Mosel. The Wehlener Sonnenuhr, named after the sundial that stands among its vines, is a steep, slate-soiled slope above the river and one of the Mosel's greatest vineyards. Prüm Rieslings are famous for their low alcohol, delicate sweetness and ability to age for decades.

A complex bouquet of floral notes, with subtle hints of ripe stone fruit. On the palate, a concentration of apricot and citrus, with natural sweetness balanced by bright acidity.

Serve with: spicy Asian dishes, smoked fish, pork with apple, or on its own.
